As India celebrates Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, key cabinet ministers have offered tributes to his enduring leadership, with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal underscoring the impact of his vision and dedication to the nation.
In a heartfelt post on X, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman extended her best wishes to the Prime Minister, writing, “On his birthday wishing PM @narendramodi ji a long healthy life to continue his service to our nation. His unwavering commitment to put India’s interest above all else is recognised by our people, who bless him. His leadership has provided stability, vision and progress for all Indians.”
Sitharaman praised PM Modi’s focus on national priorities and described him as a stabilising force in Indian governance, whose leadership has been central to India’s economic resilience and global standing.
Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal also took to social media to reflect on PM Modi’s long-standing service to the nation, noting that he has devoted 50 years to public life and 24 years to governance, both as Chief Minister of Gujarat and then as Prime Minister of India.
Piyush Goyal wrote that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has risen from a humble worker to become one of India’s most illustrious leaders, dedicating his entire life to serving the poor, youth, farmers, and women.
He highlighted the government’s wide-ranging welfare initiatives—such as food security, clean drinking water, healthcare improvements, and housing schemes—as key examples of PM Modi’s philosophy of ‘serving the people as serving the divine’.
Goyal also praised PM Modi’s economic reforms, noting that initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, and the drive for self-reliance have fuelled India’s growth trajectory.
“Your mantras like Make in India, Startup India and Swadeshi have led to unprecedented progress in the country’s economy,” Goyal stated, citing recent Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with developed countries as game-changers for trade and industry.
He added, “I am fortunate that under your leadership, guidance and farsightedness, I got the opportunity to learn a lot, work and contribute to our goal of building a developed India. I am grateful to you for this.”
Goyal concluded his message with confidence in the future, “I have full faith that in the Amritkaal, this country will emerge as a developed India.”
As tributes continue to pour in from leaders across the country, PM Modi’s 75th birthday has become more than a personal milestone—it is a celebration of leadership that has shaped India’s past, present, and future.
The day marks both gratitude and renewed commitment to building a Viksit Bharat.
