Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) site in Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Saturday morning. During the visit, he will conduct a comprehensive review of the manufacturing facility, including the dedicated space for Tejas jets. This visit comes in the backdrop of the Indian Air Force’s recent issuance of a tender to HAL for the procurement of 12 advanced Su-30MKI fighter jets.
Defence sources have revealed that the HAL, a state-owned enterprise, is set to respond to the tender next month, providing intricate project details and other relevant information.
