PM Modi Wishes Eid Mubarak; Calls For Harmony & Kindness

Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, extending his best wishes for joy, prosperity, and unity.

Taking to his social media handle X, he wrote: “Greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr. May this festival enhance the spirit of hope, harmony, and kindness in our society. May there be joy and success in all your endeavors. Eid Mubarak!”

Eid Celebrations Across India

Marking the culmination of the holy month of Ramzan, Eid-ul-Fitr is one of the most significant celebrations in the Islamic calendar.

The festival is observed with immense fervor across India and the world, bringing people together to share meals, exchange gifts, and offer prayers for peace and harmony.

The day is a time of joy and generosity, reflecting the values of compassion and brotherhood.

Communities across India gathered at mosques and open grounds for special Eid prayers, followed by traditional feasts and celebrations.

President Murmu’s Message Of Brotherhood

Earlier in the day, President Droupadi Murmu also extended her heartfelt greetings, emphasizing that Eid-ul-Fitr strengthens the spirit of brotherhood, compassion, and charity.

Taking to social media, she stated: “Greetings to all countrymen, especially Muslim brothers and sisters, on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. This festival strengthens the feeling of brotherhood and gives the message of adopting compassion and charity. I wish that this festival brings peace, prosperity, and happiness in everyone’s life and strengthens the spirit of moving forward on the path of goodness in everyone’s hearts.”

Leaders Extend Eid Greetings

Several prominent leaders across the country extended their Eid-ul-Fitr greetings, reinforcing the festival’s message of harmony and unity.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh shared his wishes, stating: “May this festival bring happiness, peace, and prosperity to all. Hope this day further strengthens the bonds of harmony and brotherhood across society. Eid Mubarak!”

The Office of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also extended warm wishes, highlighting that Eid-ul-Fitr promotes social unity and mutual brotherhood.

His message encouraged everyone to take a pledge to further strengthen harmony and social cohesion.

Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari, took to social media to share: “Warmest wishes for Eid-ul-Fitr. May this joyous occasion fill every heart with peace, love, and endless blessings. Eid Mubarak!”

Similarly, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju conveyed his greetings, writing,

“Wishing everyone a joyous & blessed Eid-ul-Fitr! May this special day bring happiness, prosperity, and new opportunities for all. Let’s celebrate the spirit of togetherness & gratitude with our loved ones.”

Eid-ul-Fitr is not just a religious celebration but a festival that reinforces values of unity, kindness, and generosity. It serves as a reminder to spread compassion and goodwill, strengthening the fabric of Indian society.
