PM Modi Unveils Visionary Blueprint For Bharat@2047 In Bold Independence Day Address

PM Narendra Modi, delivering his 12th Independence Day address from the Red Fort, laid out an ambitious roadmap to transform India into a developed nation by 2047.

His speech combined technological ambition with economic resolve, declaring that Bharat will define its own path, build its own capabilities, and stride confidently into the future.

India’s First Semiconductor Chip by Year-End

Recalling unsuccessful attempts five decades ago, PM Modi announced that India’s first Made-in-India semiconductor chip will be produced by year-end. He said this milestone marks India’s entry into a strategic global industry long dominated by foreign players.

The Prime Minister revealed that ten nuclear reactors are under construction as part of a plan to increase India’s nuclear power capacity more than tenfold by 2047. He said this expansion will strengthen energy security and cut dependence on fossil fuels.

Next-Generation GST Reforms as ‘Diwali Gift’

Calling it a ‘Diwali gift’, PM Modi unveiled next-generation GST reforms aimed at lowering taxes on essential goods and easing the burden on MSMEs, street vendors, and consumers.

The newly launched PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana will provide ₹15,000 per month to newly employed youth. It targets three crore beneficiaries.

PM Modi said the scheme will serve as a bridge from Swatantra Bharat to Samriddha Bharat.

PM Modi announced the creation of a dedicated task force to fast-track economic reforms and remove bureaucratic hurdles. It will prepare the nation to become a $10 trillion economy by 2047.

Highlighting security risks from illegal immigration, the Prime Minister launched a high-powered Demography Mission. It aims to protect the nation’s demographic balance, particularly in border areas.

PM Modi announced the National Deepwater Exploration Mission to tap ocean energy resources. He also announced major expansions in solar, hydrogen, and nuclear energy production.

Invoking India’s COVID-19 vaccine and UPI success, PM Modi urged scientists to build indigenous jet engines as a matter of national pride.
