Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Uttar Pradesh and Odisha on Sunday, inaugurating key infrastructure projects and attending the Indian Air Force’s aerial display in Varanasi.

During his Uttar Pradesh visit, Modi will inaugurate a new garment manufacturing facility in Varanasi at around 11 AM.

The facility will boost textile manufacturing, drive industrial growth and create jobs, especially for women.

The project will boost regional growth and attract industrial investment to Uttar Pradesh.

Later, the Prime Minister will attend the Air Force Day Aerial Display-2026 at Namo Ghat in Varanasi as the chief guest. The event will mark the Indian Air Force’s 94th anniversary under the theme ‘Wings over Ganges’.

Aircraft including the Tejas, Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) Prachand, SU-30MKI and Rafale, along with transport aircraft, will participate.

Aircraft from the Indian Navy and Indian Army will join the display, highlighting joint operational capabilities.

The Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team and Sarang Helicopter Display Team will showcase precision flying, coordination and operational excellence.

Modi will then travel to Bhubaneswar, Odisha, to inaugurate the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) Data Centre and Cybersecurity Training Institute.

The data centre will provide a secure, resilient, scalable and future-ready computing ecosystem for the RBI and the wider financial sector.

Four state-of-the-art data centres will host critical payment and settlement systems and other major initiatives.

The facility has received Uptime Institute Tier IV certification, the highest tier for data centre infrastructure resilience. It ranks among the world’s largest Tier IV-certified facilities in the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector.

According to the official statement, the centre will strengthen the reach, efficiency and reliability of digital financial services.

The Cybersecurity Training Institute will support training, research and capability development across the financial sector. It will focus on emerging technologies, including quantum computing and artificial intelligence, to strengthen cybersecurity and enterprise technology capabilities.
