PM Modi To Visit Puttaparthi & Coimbatore For Spiritual & Agricultural Programmes

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu on Wednesday to pay homage to Sri Sathya Sai Baba and promote sustainable agricultural practices.

Ahead of his visit, PM Modi expressed his anticipation on X, stating that he looked forward to joining the people of Andhra Pradesh for the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

He praised the spiritual leader’s commitment to community service and his role in guiding society towards moral and spiritual upliftment.

As per the Prime Minister’s schedule, Modi will arrive in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, at around 10 AM to visit the sacred shrine and Mahasamadhi of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Here, he will offer his obeisance and pay respects during this momentous centenary year.

Centenary Celebrations and Commemorative Releases

At approximately 10.30 AM, PM Modi will participate in the official Centenary Celebrations of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

On this occasion, he will release a commemorative coin and a set of postage stamps honouring the revered spiritual figure’s teachings, humanitarian service, and enduring influence.

The Prime Minister is also expected to address the gathering, highlighting Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s impact on India’s spiritual and social ethos.

Following the ceremony in Puttaparthi, PM Modi will travel to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, where he will inaugurate the South India Natural Farming Summit 2025 at around 1.30 PM.

The three-day summit, held from 19 to 21 November, is organised by the Tamil Nadu Natural Farming Stakeholders Forum.

Support for Farmers: PM-KISAN Instalment

During the programme, the Prime Minister will release the 21st instalment of PM-KISAN, amounting to over ₹18,000 crore.

This tranche will benefit nearly 9 crore farmers across the country and reflects the government’s continued commitment to ensuring financial support for India’s agrarian community.

He will also address the participating farmers and stakeholders.

The Summit aims to advance sustainable, eco-friendly, and chemical-free farming practices, fostering a shift towards natural and regenerative agriculture.

It will also highlight innovations in organic inputs, eco-friendly packaging, agro-processing, and indigenous farming technologies.

A key focus will be strengthening market linkages for farmer-producer organisations and rural entrepreneurs.

The event will draw over 50,000 participants, including farmers, natural farming experts, scientists, organic suppliers, and stakeholders from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Puducherry.
