PM Modi To Visit Kanyakumari From May 30th To June 1st In Spiritual Culmination Of Election Campaign

In the culmination of his election campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kanyakumari from May 30th to June 1st. During his stay, he will visit the Rock Memorial and meditate at the Dhyan Mandapam, the very place where Swami Vivekananda once meditated. His meditation will begin on the evening of May 30th and continue until the evening of June 1st.

Kanyakumari holds significant historical and spiritual importance. It is where Swami Vivekananda experienced a profound vision of Bharat Mata. This rock had a transformative impact on Vivekananda’s life, much like Sarnath did for Gautam Buddha. After traveling across the country, Vivekananda meditated here for three days, which inspired his vision for a developed India. Prime Minister Modi’s meditation at this site symbolizes his dedication to realizing Swami Vivekananda’s vision of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).

Furthermore, Kanyakumari is where Goddess Parvati is believed to have meditated on one foot while awaiting Bhagwan Shiv. It is also the southernmost tip of India, where the eastern and western coastlines converge, and the Indian Ocean meets the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. By choosing this location, Prime Minister Modi is sending a message of national unity.

PM Modi’s visit also underscores his deep commitment and affection for Tamil Nadu, highlighting his engagement with the state even after the elections have concluded. Known for undertaking spiritual journeys at the end of his election campaigns, Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Kanyakumari continues this tradition. In 2019, he visited Kedarnath, and in 2014, he visited Shivaji’s Pratapgarh. This visit to Kanyakumari from May 30th to June 1st reflects his ongoing spiritual journey and dedication to the nation.
