PM Modi To Interact With Bihar Booth Workers Under ‘Mera Booth Sabse Majboot’ Campaign

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will directly engage with booth-level Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers from Bihar on Wednesday as part of the party’s flagship grassroots outreach campaign, Mera Booth Sabse Majboot.

The initiative aims to empower local workers and strengthen the BJP’s electoral machinery ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections scheduled for November.

Mera Booth Sabse Majboot is a long-running campaign launched by the BJP to connect directly with party workers at the booth level — the smallest unit of election management. It enables the Prime Minister and senior leaders to hear firsthand feedback and suggestions from party karyakartas (workers), ensuring their involvement in the decision-making process.

Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “Our dedicated workers have geared up with full energy for the victory of BJP-NDA in Bihar. Interacting with such dedicated workers always provides new inspiration.”

He further invited workers to submit their suggestions, saying he looks forward to directly discussing key issues with selected participants.

Seat-Sharing Finalised Among NDA Partners

The interaction comes at a crucial time, following the finalisation of the seat-sharing formula among the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partners in Bihar.

Union Minister and NDA election in-charge for Bihar, Dharmendra Pradhan, announced on Sunday that both BJP and Janata Dal (United) [JD(U)] will contest 101 seats each in the 243-member Assembly.

However, the remaining 41 seats have been allocated to smaller alliance partners: Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will contest 29 seats, Rashtriya Lok Morcha 6, and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) 6.

The announcement, however, followed intensive discussions in Delhi and Patna, signalling strong coordination among the alliance.

Building Momentum

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) and PM Modi’s BJP are presenting a united front in this election, aiming for a renewed mandate.

Taking to X, Dharmendra Pradhan posted, “We NDA allies have completed the distribution of seats in a cordial atmosphere. All workers and leaders of NDA parties warmly welcome this.”

Furthermore, the Bihar Assembly elections are set to be held in two phases, on 6 and 11 November. Counting of votes will take place on 14 November.

PM Modi’s outreach through the Mera Booth Sabse Majboot campaign aims to boost morale at the grassroots level, strengthen the BJP’s election preparedness, and energise its worker base across Bihar.

With a people-driven campaign and a united NDA front, the BJP has set the stage for a closely watched electoral battle in the state.
