PM Modi To Chair NDA Chief Ministers’ Council Meeting On June 10

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will head the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Chief Ministers’ Council meeting in New Delhi on June 10, coinciding with the completion of 12 years of the BJP-led administration at the Centre.

Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from NDA-ruled states are expected to attend the meeting. Prominent BJP figures and senior representatives from alliance parties are also likely to attend.

Sources indicated that the meeting will assess the accomplishments of the Modi government during the past 12 years while exploring methods to expand awareness of the Centre’s welfare and development initiatives.

Leaders are expected to discuss measures to expand the reach of flagship government schemes and improve beneficiaries’ access to information about these programmes across states.

The discussions are likely to focus on major policy priorities for the coming months. These include infrastructure expansion, employment opportunities, welfare implementation and administrative efficiency.

The council may also review coordination between the Union government and NDA-ruled states.

Leaders aim to improve the execution of development projects and share successful governance models.

Apart from administrative matters, leaders are expected to discuss political strategies for the upcoming Assembly elections. Several states are scheduled to go to the polls later this year.

The NDA leadership views the meeting as an important exercise to strengthen coordination among alliance partners. It also aims to reinforce the coalition’s governance narrative under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

The council session comes at a time when the BJP and its allies are actively highlighting the Centre’s achievements and policy initiatives. The Modi government is also completing 12 years in office.
