PM Modi To Address Closing Session Of Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in the closing session of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 on Monday, coinciding with National Youth Day, which marks the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The event will be held at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital.

The concluding session will bring the Prime Minister face-to-face with nearly 3,000 young participants, including representatives from abroad.

These young leaders have been part of intensive discussions over the past few days, exchanging ideas on the future direction of the country.

During the final interaction, selected participants will present their recommendations directly to the Prime Minister.

Their suggestions focus on ten broad themes of national relevance, covering areas such as education, technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, social progress and governance.

Ahead of the programme, Prime Minister Modi shared his enthusiasm about engaging with the youth.

In a message posted on social media platform X, he described young Indians as a powerful force driven by energy, passion and a strong commitment to building a prosperous nation.

He noted that the dialogue offers a meaningful opportunity to listen to their ideas and aspirations.

The Prime Minister has repeatedly underlined that innovation and dedication among the youth are central to India’s growth story, and platforms like this dialogue encourage constructive participation in nation-building.

Union Minister Welcomes Delegates in Delhi

Union Minister of Labour and Employment Mansukh Mandaviya also welcomed the young delegates arriving in Delhi, describing them as confident and inspired to present their vision of a developed India.

He emphasised that this collective youth energy reflects the country’s cultural strength and forward-looking spirit.

Building on the momentum of its inaugural edition, the 2026 dialogue, held from January 9 to 12, introduced new initiatives such as ‘Design for Bharat’ and ‘Tech for Viksit Bharat’.

These additions widened discussions to include technology-led solutions and innovation, while participation from the Indian youth diaspora brought a global outlook.

Concluding on National Youth Day, the dialogue aims to move beyond conversations and inspire young Indians to take leadership roles in shaping the nation’s future.
