PM Modi Shares Highlights Of India AI Impact Expo 2026, Stresses Responsible AI For Global Good

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday shared highlights from the inauguration of the India AI Impact Expo 2026, describing the event as a powerful confluence of ideas, innovation and determination. He said the expo not only represents technological advancement but also reflects India’s commitment to the positive use of Artificial Intelligence for global human welfare.

According to the Prime Minister, the India AI Impact Expo 2026 demonstrated that Indian talent and capabilities can play a pivotal role in steering the future of AI towards global good. He noted that young innovators, start-ups, academics and industry experts showcased how rapidly India is progressing in the field of technology.

Modi emphasised that Artificial Intelligence must be used with responsibility, inclusivity and a focus on large-scale human development. He said government policies aim to ensure that AI is not confined to economic growth alone but is effectively deployed in social welfare, education, healthcare and agriculture.

In a post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister wrote that the India AI Impact Expo 2026 was a powerful convergence of ideas, innovation and intent. He added that the programme highlighted the extraordinary potential of Indian capabilities in shaping the future of AI for global good. The event, he said, also reaffirmed India’s resolve to use AI in a responsible, inclusive and development-oriented manner.

Experts believe that international platforms of this nature further strengthen India’s position in the global technology landscape. The government aims to establish India as a global leader in AI in the coming years, with equal emphasis on research, innovation and ethical principles.
