PM Modi Shares ‘Full House’ Crowd Image From Barrackpore Rally In Bengal

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted an aerial image of a large gathering at his rally venue in Barrackpore, indicating a significant turnout ahead of his public address.

In a message shared on X in Bengali, the Prime Minister remarked that the venue was completely filled, suggesting there was barely any space left due to the size of the crowd.

In a separate post, he described the event as a ‘full house’.

Supporters at the rally expressed enthusiasm over his visit and voiced backing for the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Several attendees said the Prime Minister’s leadership motivated them and described the gathering as an important moment in the party’s campaign in the state.

Some party workers highlighted concerns over industrial decline in West Bengal, stating that they were looking for renewed development and opportunities.

Others spoke about their expectation of a ‘double-engine government’, referring to alignment between state and central leadership.

The Barrackpore rally forms part of the BJP’s outreach efforts as it seeks to expand its support base in West Bengal ahead of upcoming polling.

Political campaigning in the state has intensified, with major parties stepping up their engagement with voters.

A day earlier, while addressing a gathering in Bangaon, PM Modi referred to freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose, recalling his call for sacrifice during the independence movement. He urged voters to extend their support, presenting it as a step towards political change in the state.

With campaigning entering a crucial phase, rallies such as the one in Barrackpore will likely play a key role in shaping voter sentiment.
