On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his New Year greetings to the nation, reflecting a confident and forward-looking India.
In a heartfelt post on social media, the Prime Minister celebrated the achievements of 2024 while sharing his optimism for 2025.
Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “Mera Bharat badh raha (My India is taking big strides of progress)”
“From space to soil, railways to runways, culture to innovation, #IndiaIn2024 marked a year of remarkable progress & transformation!” said the Prime Minister.
PM Modi further added, “A poetic celebration as we stride confidently into 2025.”
The PM’s New Year post included a 2.41-minute animated video highlighting the key achievements of an eventful 2024.
The animated video illustrated India’s accomplishments, including successful space missions, strides in supercomputing, and growth in defense manufacturing.
Infrastructure achievements such as the underwater Howrah Maidan Metro, the Rameswaram rail bridge, and the expansion of Vande Bharat trains were also highlighted.
Other notable achievements included the establishment of new medical colleges, enhanced public healthcare facilities, and housing projects under the PM Awas Yojana.
Social milestones featured the opening of the first temple in Abu Dhabi and the introduction of three modern criminal laws.
Economically, the video emphasized $700 billion in foreign reserves and India’s rise as the third-largest force in Asia.
It also celebrated 24.82 crore people lifted out of poverty and a Rs 2 lakh crore employment package benefiting 4.1 crore youth.
In sports, India’s record-breaking haul of 29 medals at the Paralympics was a standout moment.
Environmental efforts such as the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign led to the plantation of 102 crore saplings, alongside significant progress in green energy production.
As he ushered in 2025, PM Modi expressed hope for a prosperous, peaceful, and healthy year ahead for all Indians, continuing his tradition of sharing meaningful New Year wishes with the nation.
