Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on an extraordinary journey today as he submerged into the depths of the Arabian Sea off the coast of Gujarat to conduct an underwater puja at the legendary site of Dwarka. Dwarka, steeped in lore and revered for its association with Lord Krishna, was once a bustling metropolis believed to have been engulfed by the sea ages ago.
With scuba gear adorning him, PM Modi descended into the azure waters to pay homage to the submerged city, offering prayers at this sacred location imbued with historical and spiritual significance.
During this solemn ceremony, PM Modi reverently presented peacock feathers—a symbolic tribute to Lord Krishna.
Reflecting on his profound experience, PM Modi expressed on X, “To offer prayers in the submerged city of Dwarka was an immensely divine experience. I felt a profound connection to an ancient era of spiritual magnificence and timeless devotion. May Bhagwan Shri Krishna bless us all.”
