Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached France in the earlier part of Thursday. He was welcomed in the nation with all the pomp and show. In the later part of the day (as per Indian Standard Time), PM Modi meets top French Officials. As per the information from PMO, he had a fruitful meeting with the President of French Senate – Gerard Larcher in Paris. Other than Gerard Larcher, PM Modi met our French counterpart Elisabeth Borne, with whom he discussed country related issues.

As the two nations are celebrating 25th Anniversary of their relations, it becomes even more imperative to discuss such issues that will lead to better and stronger relations between the two nations.
Prime Minister met the President of French Senate – Gerard Larcher and he shared the same via a Tweet. The Tweet said, “Delighted to have met Mr. @gerard_larcher, President of the @Senat. Had productive exchanges on ways to deepen India-France cooperation across diverse sectors.”
PMO in a Tweet stated, “PM @narendramodi had a productive meeting with Mr. @gerard_larcher, President of @Senat, in Paris. They deliberated on a range of issues of mutual interest and agreed to work together to deepen India-France cooperation in a number of areas.”
