Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conveyed his eagerness to engage with young leaders at the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue scheduled for January 12.
On X, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the enthusiasm and commitment of India’s youth. “Our youth, filled with incredible enthusiasm and unmatched passion, are committed to building a strong and prosperous nation,” he said.
“I am very excited to interact with my young friends from across the country at the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue. I will meet all of you at this event on January 12,” PM Modi added.
India’s young population, according to the Prime Minister, represents the nation’s greatest strength. Stressing their unmatched energy, creativity, and dedication, he noted that young leaders are instrumental in driving progress and innovation across sectors.
According to PM Modi, the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue will provide an inclusive space for meaningful discussions, idea-sharing, and collaboration. Through such engagement, the government aims to encourage youth participation in shaping policies and contributing to the long-term vision of a Viksit Bharat.
Meanwhile, Union Minister of Labour and Employment Mansukh Mandaviya welcomed thousands of young participants who reached New Delhi to take part in the event. Sharing his message on social media, the minister described the gathering as a powerful reflection of India’s vibrant youth energy.
“Sashakt Yuva, Viksit Bharat! Three thousand energetic youth from across the country have reached Delhi for the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue,” Mansukh Mandaviya wrote.
Building upon the success of its inaugural edition, the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 is being held from January 9 to 12 and marks a significant expansion in scope. Introducing initiatives such as Design for Bharat and Tech for Viksit Bharat, the event broadens discussions to innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology-led solutions.
Importantly, participation from the Indian youth diaspora brings an international outlook, enabling the exchange of global best practices and fresh perspectives on India’s development journey.
Ultimately, concluding on January 12, the dialogue coincides with National Youth Day, observed in honour of Swami Vivekananda. Moreover, beyond being a discussion forum, the initiative aspires to grow into a movement that motivates young Indians to take leadership roles, address national challenges, and contribute actively to nation-building.
