PM Modi Launches Women’s Health Drive From Dhar, Madhya Pradesh

PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday launched a nationwide women’s health drive from Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, coinciding with Vishwakarma Jayanti.

Addressing a large gathering, he urged women across the country to take part in free health screenings organised at camps nationwide.

“Your health is priceless, and the government will bear every cost,” PM Modi told the crowd, stressing that women’s well-being is the foundation of a strong family and a stronger nation.

The campaign will continue until Vijayadashami on October 2.

Focus on Women’s Health

During the event, the Prime Minister also inaugurated the eighth edition of Poshan Maah (Nutrition Month), reaffirming the government’s commitment to reducing maternal and infant mortality rates.

He said that over 6.5 crore pregnant women have benefited so far, with ₹19,000 crore transferred directly to their accounts.

On Wednesday alone, the government deposited more than ₹450 crore into the accounts of over 15 lakh women with a single click.

To address genetic diseases among tribal communities, PM Modi unveiled the Aradhna Kanlmi Sickle Cell Genetic Counselling Card. He also paid homage to Bagdevi of Dhar Bhojshala and Lord Vishwakarma, invoking cultural unity and reverence.

The Prime Minister identified four key pillars for building a developed India—women, youth, the poor, and farmers—calling on all 140 crore citizens to unite in this mission.

Strong Message on National Security

Reaffirming India’s commitment to security, PM Modi recalled Operation Sindoor, when Indian forces dismantled terrorist camps in Pakistan.

“This is the new India,” he declared. “We do not bow to nuclear threats — we strike at the heart of the enemy.”

He also cited a recent confession by a Pakistani terrorist as proof of India’s decisive strength. Reflecting on history, he invoked Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and the Indian Army’s role in liberating Hyderabad.

He noted that September 17, once remembered for a massacre, is now celebrated as Hyderabad Liberation Day.

In Dhar, the Prime Minister inaugurated India’s largest integrated textile park under the PM Mitra scheme, aimed at creating jobs and strengthening the farming sector.

He also launched the Madhya Pradesh edition of Adi Seva Parv to connect tribal communities with essential government schemes.
