Out of the total, PM Modi inaugurated projects worth Rs 11,735 crore. He also laid foundation stones for works valued at Rs 1,257 crore. In all, he dedicated 14 projects to the state.

The initiatives will likely benefit several districts, including Buxar, Munger, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Begusarai, Gaya, Aurangabad, Jehanabad, Lakhisarai, and Jamui, marking a significant boost to infrastructure in both northern and southern Bihar.

In addition, PM Modi flagged off the Amrit Bharat Express between Gaya and New Delhi and launched the Koderma–Vaishali Bodh Circuit passenger train to enhance connectivity across Buddhist pilgrimage destinations.

As part of the programme, he handed over keys to 16,000 newly built houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to beneficiaries across Bihar.

Addressing the gathering, PM Modi stated, “I will work hard to provide houses for all, and we are committed to it. We are working on the line to get people from Bihar jobs in its state. We have started many projects in Bihar, and these will give jobs to the people of Bihar.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed at Gaya Airport around 11 AM and then headed to Magadh University campus for the event, where Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, Chirag Paswan, Lalan Singh, Samrat Choudhary, and Vijay Kumar Sinha joined him.

With these projects, the government expects to directly improve infrastructure in multiple districts, creating jobs and boosting overall growth in Bihar.
