Prime Minister Narendra Modi has unveiled a video on social media to kickstart the ‘Mera Bharat, Mera Parivar’ campaign, just prior to the Lok Sabha elections. The video features a theme song associated with the campaign and provides an overview of all the schemes implemented by the Modi government. Highlighted schemes include the Har Ghar Nal Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, and PM Awas Yojana. Notably, the Election Commission is set to announce Lok Sabha election dates later today.
In his social media post on platform X, PM Modi captioned, “My India, my family!” The video showcases the song “Main Modi ka Pariwar Hoon…” along with details of various government schemes. Recently, PM Modi responded to RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s remarks on nepotism, asserting during a public address that the 140 crore people of the country are his family. Consequently, many BJP leaders and workers have appended ‘Modi’s family’ to their social media profiles, continuing the campaign. In the previous Lok Sabha elections, BJP initiated the ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar’ campaign, resulting in the formation of the Modi government. PM Modi has once again set a target of surpassing 400 seats in the upcoming elections, actively conducting rallies across the country. Today, the Election Commission will unveil the election dates.
Notably, during the last Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi had coined the slogan ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ against PM Modi in relation to the Rafale deal. In response, PM Modi added ‘Chowkidar’ to his name on social media, prompting BJP leaders to follow suit with ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar’ in their profiles, rapidly propelling the campaign forward.
