Delhi Airport Metro Express Line inaugurated by PM Modi on his Birthday
Delhi Airport Metro Express Line Extension: PM Modi on Sunday inaugurated the expansion of the Airport Line of Delhi Metro. It now ends at Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25 station. About two kilometers of the airport line has been extended at the new station. Earlier the Airport Line used to connect Dwarka Sector 21 with New Delhi Metro Station. New Delhi station is located on the Yellow Line. Now it has been extended to Dwarka Sector 25.
Before the inauguration, Modi took a metro ride from Dhaula Kuan station to Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25 metro station. During the journey, many passengers, young and old, men and women, interacted with the Prime Minister and took selfies with him. The high-speed corridor has been extended from Dwarka Sector 21 station to Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25 station.
The opening of the new metro station in Dwarka Sector 25 will increase urban connectivity and will facilitate people to reach the India International Convention and Expo Center (IICC) named Yashobhoomi. Let us tell you that after this PM Modi inaugurated the first phase of IICC. During this, PM Modi met cobblers, potters and craftsmen present at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre.
