PM Modi in Prayagraj: India, Known for Expressways and Infrastructure

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a huge crowd in Prayagraj, emphasising the cultural significance of the city and highlighting the progress of the country.

PM Modi paid tribute to Bade Hanuman ji from the Parade ground of the city and said, “Prayagraj is ‘Tapobhoomi’.”

Emphasizing the development during his tenure in the country, Modi said that today India is known for the expressway and infrastructure. He said,  “Big countries are embracing the Indian technology.”

lauding the people of Prayagraj for their style of living,  Modi said, “People of Prayagraj are not scared of anything. The liveliness, that the people of Prayagraj carry, has not been witnessed before.”

“SP, INC, and INDI alliance can not digest the glory of India. ‘Shehzada'(referring to Rahul Gandhi) goes abroad to abuse India. The agenda of the INDI alliance is to repeal the CAA and restore Article 370 in Kashmir,” Modi said attacking the opposition.

Underlining the lack of facilities during the rule of SP and Congress, Modi said that when SP and Congress was in power fatal stampede in the Kumbh crowd would lead to numerous death. They were more concerned with their vote bank.

He asked the crowd whether those who boycotted Ram Mandir would allow the next year’s Kumbh to be held Properly.

“Congress gives all the credit to a family,” “The statue of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel is built by Modi. Congress thinks that even the shadow of the huge statue will cause them problems,” he further maintained.

Coming down heavily on the Samajwadi Party Modi said, ” People were made to yearn for electricity. Now electricity is available to all. Our Prayagraj is reaching unprecedented heights of development. On the Ganga river, the Ganga expressway is being built.”

Prime Minister praised the situation of law and order during the rule of BJP. He said,” It was difficult for sisters and daughters to go out.” “Simple and honest people lived in terror but ever since BJP has come, a clean-up campaign is going on here against the mafia. During the time of SP, the mafia used to occupy the lands of the poor,” PM added.

Modi asked the people of Prayagraj if the BJP would secure both the Lok Sabha seats of Prayagraj, in the regional language.

Polling in the Allahabad constituency will take place in the sixth phase on May 25.

The main fight on the seat is between BJP’s Neeraj Tripathi and Ujjwal Ram Singh of SP.
