PM Narendra Modi on Thursday praised the Indian Armed Forces for their swift and courageous response during Operation Sindoor.
Addressing a public rally in Bikaner, Rajasthan, PM Modi recalled his 2019 promise, “Saugandh mujhe iss Desh ki mitti ki, mein desh nahi mitne dunga, mein desh nahi Jhukne dunga.”
The Prime Minister declared, “Those who came to erase Sindoor, we have demolished them.”
PM Modi reminded the crowd of his visit to Rajasthan following the Balakot airstrikes in 2019. He said the state’s valour symbolises India’s unwavering patriotism.
“On April 22, terrorists tried to erase the sindoor from the foreheads of our sisters by questioning their religion. Though those bullets were fired in Pahalgam, they pierced the hearts of 140 crore Indians,” PM Modi said.
The Prime Minister added that the nation united in resolve to punish the terrorists beyond imagination.
The Prime Minister praised the armed forces for their precision and coordination during Operation Sindoor, which destroyed nine major terror hideouts in just 22 minutes.
“Our government gave full freedom to the Army, Navy, and Air Force to act. Together, they created such a Chakravyuh that Pakistan was forced to kneel,” the PM said.
PM Modi emphasised that the operation demonstrated the strength of the nation’s resolve, stating, “The world has seen what happens when Sindoor turns into gunpowder.”
Moreover, PM Modi stressed that Rajasthan teaches the country that nothing is greater than the nation and its citizens. He reiterated that the terror attack targeting civilians based on religion united the entire nation to fight back fiercely.
“The bullets fired in Pahalgam wounded the hearts of 140 crore Indians. The response shook the enemy to its core,” Prime Minister Modi said.
Highlighting India’s development strides, PM Modi announced a sixfold increase in infrastructure spending in recent years.
“By the blessings of Karni Mata, our resolve to build a Viksit Bharat grows stronger. The last 11 years have seen remarkable efforts to modernise our roads, airports, and railway stations,” PM Modi said.
The Prime Minister emphasised that building modern infrastructure is crucial for India’s progress.
