PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday praised the Indian Armed Forces for their precision strikes under Operation Sindoor, declaring that India has shattered Pakistan’s ‘nuclear blackmail’ and created history through decisive military action.
Addressing air warriors and soldiers at the Air Force Station in Adampur, PM Modi commended their bravery and precision.
PM’s visit came a day after he addressed the nation, asserting that India would no longer tolerate nuclear threats and would respond decisively to terrorism.
“When our drones breach enemy walls and our missiles hit targets, the enemy hears ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’,” the Prime Minister said. “When we strike, even the night lights up like day, and the skies echo with the pride of the nation.”
India launched Operation Sindoor following the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians.
In response, the Indian Armed Forces carried out targeted strikes on terror camps and Pakistani military infrastructure, destroying 11 airbases and 9 terror hideouts across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
After the strikes, Pakistan retaliated with military action, including multiple attempts to target Indian air bases such as Adampur. However, Indian forces successfully repelled all attacks.
“Shaken by Operation Sindoor, Pakistan attempted to strike this very air base, along with several others,” PM Modi said. “But our armed forces crushed their attempts each time.”
PM Modi asserted that India’s military response had not only dismantled terror hubs but also nullified Pakistan’s long-standing nuclear threat narrative. “You didn’t just destroy their camps and base, you crushed their arrogance,” he told the troops.
The Prime Minister said ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ is more than just a slogan; it is the spirit of sacrifice and duty.
“It echoes both on the battlefield and in every mission. It is the heartbeat of every soldier and every citizen devoted to the nation,” PM Modi declared.
