Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with senior ministers and state leaders, extended warm birthday greetings to President Droupadi Murmu on Friday.
Taking to social media platform X, PM Modi commended her unwavering dedication to public service and also hailed her as an inspiration to millions across the nation.
“Warmest birthday wishes to Rashtrapati Ji. Her life and leadership continue to inspire crores of people across the country. Her unwavering commitment to public service, social justice and inclusive development are a beacon of hope and strength for everyone,” PM Modi wrote.
The Prime Minister further praised her efforts to uplift the poor and marginalised, wishing her a long and healthy life in service to the people.
President Droupadi Murmu, India’s 15th President and the first tribal woman to hold the nation’s highest constitutional office, received widespread tributes from political leaders cutting across party lines.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh described her journey from the grassroots to the presidency as a reflection of India’s democratic strength.

Similarly, Union Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda, in a message shared in Hindi, extended his congratulations on behalf of BJP workers across the country.
He lauded her work in education, health, and tribal welfare, noting that her contributions have significantly benefitted the nation.
Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari also conveyed his wishes, praying for her health and long life.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in a message posted in Hindi, referred to the President as a ‘symbol of service and simplicity’ and further offered prayers for her well-being and continued success.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin shared his greetings, stating, “Wishing you good health, peace, and happiness in your service to the nation.”
Sworn in on 25 July 2022, President Murmu earlier served as Jharkhand Governor (2015–2021).
Over the years, she has emerged as a strong advocate for tribal and women’s empowerment, symbolising inclusive governance and democratic values.
As such, her birthday serves as a fitting tribute to her enduring service and resilience.
