PM Narendra Modi on Saturday extended heartfelt birthday greetings to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, praising her dedication to public service and contributions to the national capital.
Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “Best wishes to Delhi Chief Minister, Smt. Rekha Gupta ji, on her birthday. Rising through the ranks, she has always remained active in serving Delhi. As Chief Minister, she has undertaken numerous initiatives for the city’s welfare. May she be blessed with a long and healthy life.”
CM Rekha Gupta is celebrating her birthday with a major public outreach programme in Haryana, marking her first visit to her ancestral village since taking office.
She began the day by arriving in Julana, Jind district, where Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini welcomed her warmly.
At 10:45 AM, CM Gupta reached her ancestral village, Nandgarh. She addressed a public gathering and laid foundation stones for infrastructure projects in Julana.
Four BJP MLAs from the district presented CM Gupta with a traditional ‘Teej ki Kothli’, adding a festive and cultural touch to the celebration.
Local leaders and community members welcomed her with enthusiasm at Maharaja Agrasen Bhawan earlier in the day.
CM Gupta and Haryana CM Saini addressed the rally, highlighting their commitment to development and unity.
After concluding the events in Jind, CM Gupta will travel to Rohtak and reach her residence near D-Park, Subhash Nagar, by 2:00 PM.
