On March 4-6, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, West Bengal, and Bihar, where he will oversee the groundbreaking and inauguration of projects valued at over ₹ 1,10,600 crore.
“I will be attending several programs in Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, and West Bengal over the next two days. The development projects that will be launched will change many lives in a variety of sectors, according to a post by Prime Minister Modi on X.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) released a statement on March 4th, stating that the prime minister will inaugurate, dedicate, and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth over ₹ 56,000 crore in Adilabad, Telangana.
Prime Minister Modi will launch, dedicate, and lay the cornerstone of several development projects valued at ₹ 6,800 crore in Sangareddy, Telangana, on March 5 at approximately 11 a.m.
He will launch and lay the cornerstone for several development projects in Chandikhole, Jajpur, Odisha, valued at over ₹ 19,600 crore, at approximately 3:30 pm.
PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several connectivity projects valued at ₹ 15,400 crore in Kolkata on March 6 at approximately 10:15 a.m.
Subsequently, at approximately 3:30 pm, the prime minister will travel to Bettiah in Bihar, where he will officially launch, dedicate, and lay the cornerstone for several development projects valued at approximately ₹ 12,800 crore.
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several projects relating to the power, rail, and road sectors valued at over ₹ 56,000 crore during the public program in Adilabad, Telangana. According to the PMO, the power industry will be the project’s primary focus.
PM Modi will dedicate, launch, and lay the groundwork for a number of national initiatives pertaining to the power industry.

The 800 MW (Unit-2) Telangana Super Thermal Power Project in Peddapalli, owned by NTPC, will be dedicated by him.
The project, which uses Ultra-Supercritical Technology, will provide 85% of Telangana’s electricity needs and will have the highest power generation efficiency of any NTPC power plant in India, at roughly 42%. The prime minister also laid the project’s foundation stone.
Additionally, PM Modi will dedicate the North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project in Chatra, Jharkhand, which has 660 MW (Unit-2).
This is the first Supercritical Thermal Power Project in the nation designed with an air-cooled condenser of this size, which uses one-third less water than traditional water-cooled condensers. PM Modi signaled the start of this project’s construction.
Additionally, the STP Water to Green Hydrogen Plant in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and the Fly Ash Based Light Weight Aggregate Plant in Sipat, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, will be dedicated by the prime minister.
