PM Modi Embarks On 3-Day Visit To MP, Bihar, & Assam To Inaugurate Key Projects

Madhya Pradesh: Strengthening Healthcare & Attracting Investments

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tour begins on February 23 with a visit to Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. At 2 P.M., he will lay the foundation for the Bageshwar Dham Medical and Science Research Institute, a Rs 200 crore cancer hospital that will provide free treatment to underprivileged cancer patients.

This hospital aims to improve healthcare access for all communities in the region.

Later that day, PM Modi will inaugurate the Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025 in Bhopal, showcasing Madhya Pradesh’s potential as a global investment hub.

The summit will bring together global leaders, investors, and policymakers, focusing on sectors like Pharma, Transport, Industry, Tourism, and MSMEs. Special sessions will address the needs of Global South countries, Latin America, and key international partners.

The event will also feature exhibitions in automotive, textile, and cultural sectors, highlighting the state’s economic strengths.

Bihar: Empowering Farmers & Advancing Infrastructure

On February 24, PM Modi will visit Bhagalpur, Bihar, to release the 19th installment of the PM KISAN scheme, distributing over Rs 21,500 crore to more than 9.7 crore farmers across India.

This financial support will directly benefit farmers in Bihar and nationwide.

PM Modi will also inaugurate the Centre of Excellence for Indigenous Breeds in Motihari, a project under the Rashtriya Gokul Mission, aimed at enhancing dairy farming with advanced IVF technology.

The Milk Product Plant in Barauni will further benefit the state by creating a market for 300,000 milk producers.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will dedicate the doubling of the Warisaliganj-Nawada-Tilaiya rail section and the Ismailpur-Rafiganj Road Over Bridge, improving transportation and connectivity for local communities.

Assam: Celebrating Culture & Boosting Business

On February 25, PM Modi will attend the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit in Guwahati, focusing on Assam’s economic growth, industrial evolution, and vibrant MSME sector.

The summit will attract global investors and exhibitors, promoting the state as a key business destination.

PM Modi will also witness the Mega Jhumoir 2025, a cultural celebration marking 200 years of Assam’s tea industry.

This event, featuring 8,000 performers, highlights the state’s rich cultural heritage and its role in the global tea industry.

PM Modi’s visit underscores his commitment to advancing healthcare, infrastructure, and investment in these key states, aligning with India’s vision of becoming a modern, industrialized nation.
