PM Modi Congratulates Boney Kapoor On Anshula Kapoor’s Wedding

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his warm congratulations to filmmaker Boney Kapoor and his family on the wedding of his daughter, Anshula Kapoor, and Rohan Thakkar.

In a letter dated July 3, ahead of the couple’s wedding on July 6, the Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes for their new journey together.

The letter expressed gratitude for the wedding invitation and wished the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness, trust and companionship.

PM Modi wished Anshula and Rohan a stronger bond, mutual understanding and lifelong togetherness.

Boney Kapoor shared the Prime Minister’s letter on Instagram and thanked him for his heartfelt wishes and blessings.

In his post, he described PM Modi’s wishes as deeply touching and said they made the special occasion even more memorable for the couple and the entire Kapoor family.

Boney Kapoor thanked PM Modi and said his family felt deeply touched by his kind blessings.

Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar first met through a dating application in 2022. Their friendship gradually developed into a strong relationship through regular late-night conversations.

Rohan later proposed to Anshula at New York’s Central Park at exactly 1:15 AM, the same time they had exchanged their first message years earlier. The meaningful proposal added a personal touch to their love story.

The couple married in a traditional ceremony at Mumbai’s Taj Lands End on July 6, 2026. They celebrated the occasion with their family and close friends.
