India Marks Historic Achievement in Space as Aditya L1 Sun Mission Reaches Destination. India’s much-anticipated Sun Mission, Aditya L1, has successfully reached its designated target, marking a significant milestone in the country’s space exploration. Prime Minister Modi extended his congratulations to ISRO for this remarkable success, emphasizing that India has attained yet another momentous achievement with the arrival of its first solar observatory, Aditya-L1, at its intended destination. He hailed this accomplishment as a testament to the unwavering dedication of our scientists.

PM Modi highlighted that India’s Aditya L1 satellite has covered a staggering distance of 1.5 million kilometres to reach its ultimate goal—the Sun. He emphasized that Aditya L1 has positioned itself where neither the moon nor the sun’s shadow can affect it. Commending ISRO’s scientists for their dedication and lauding their relentless efforts, PM Modi expressed his heartfelt congratulations on the mission’s success.
