PM Modi Calls On Students To Help Build Viksit Bharat At Pariksha Pe Charcha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inspired students to play an active role in building a Viksit Bharat during an engaging interaction at his residence as part of the ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha.

Interacting with students such as Arjun Patel from Gujarat and Sneha Roy from Assam, PM Modi linked personal responsibility with the nation’s long-term vision.

He asked students to imagine India 100 years after Independence and reflect on their own role in shaping the country’s future.

Referring to the freedom movement, the Prime Minister recalled how leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi and Bhagat Singh worked and sacrificed decades in advance to realise the dream of Independence.

He urged students to internalise a similar long-term vision for a developed India.

“You should never forget this dream,” he said, encouraging students to write down their personal contributions towards building a developed nation.

PM Modi highlighted what he described as a lingering ‘mentality of slavery’ reflected in everyday consumption habits. He challenged students to examine the products they use daily and gradually replace foreign-made items with Indian alternatives.

“Make a list of the things you use and replace at least ten foreign products with Indian ones,” he advised, stressing pride in domestic manufacturing and self-reliance.

PM Modi urged students to take pride in Indian products and promote cleanliness at home and in their neighbourhoods. He said India’s progress is unstoppable if the youth act with confidence, purpose, and make the most of technology and opportunities.

The pan-India session broadened Pariksha Pe Charcha into a call for nation-building and responsibility.
