PM Modi, Cabinet Leaders Extend Birthday Wishes To Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw

PM Narendra Modi and several senior leaders extended heartfelt birthday greetings to Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Friday, applauding his efforts in strengthening India’s development in sectors such as IT, innovation, and infrastructure.

PM Modi Praises Ashwini Vaishnaw’s Contributions

Taking to the social media platform, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded Vaishnaw for his leadership and work across crucial sectors.

“Birthday wishes to Union Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji. He is making commendable efforts to boost India’s strides in the world of IT, innovation and also upgradation of vital infrastructure. May he be blessed with a long and healthy life,” PM Modi posted on X.

  • Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, in a message shared in Hindi, wished Vaishnaw a prosperous life, “Heartiest birthday wishes to my colleague in the Union Cabinet. I pray to God for your excellent health, long life, and a prosperous life.”

  • Union Minister Kiren Rijiju commended Vaishnaw’s dedication to national development, “You are working with dedication for a developed India! I pray to God for your excellent health and long life.”

  • Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also offered his wishes, “Popular and energetic politician. I pray to Lord Shri Jagannath ji that you may be blessed with excellent health and a long, prosperous life.”

Ashwini Vaishnaw’s Career and Background

Ashwini Vaishnaw currently holds three key portfolios as Union Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting, and Electronics & Information Technology.

A Rajya Sabha MP from Odisha, he was born in 1970 and holds a degree from IIT Kanpur.

Before entering politics, Vaishnaw held administrative and corporate roles in Sundergarh, Balasore, Cuttack, and Goa.

A staunch believer in the philosophy of ‘Antyodaya’—uplifting the last person in the line—Vaishnaw has earned recognition for his inclusive and tech-driven approach to public service.
