PM Modi approached Sonia Gandhi on her health issues
On the opening day of the Monsoon Session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi approached Sonia Gandhi in Parliament and inquired about her health as the MPs gathered to discuss the urgent Manipur situation. Sonia Gandhi claimed to be alright.
The polite conversation happened as the opposition stepped up its criticism of the BJP government in the wake of a viral video showing two Kuki women being paraded in their pants. The session also provides the opposition as a whole with the first chance to gauge India’s (the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) capabilities.
PM Modi responded on Thursday to the viral video of two Kuki women being paraded in their pants in response to the opposition’s call to end the silence on the problem of violence in Manipur. He made a point of mentioning the situation in Rajasthan and other areas governed by the Congress where recent cases of crime against women occurred in his guarantee of action and condemnation for what occurred. The Congress criticized his address as being too late, too brief, and being loaded with digs at the Congress.
The session’s opening remarks from Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge stated that PM Modi could attend the NDA meeting but couldn’t travel to Manipur. According to Kharge, India will never forget his silence.

The political brawl, which erupted after India was formed and was sparked by the viral Manipur video. Did not interfere with PM Modi’s deference to Sonia Gandhi. In a picture posted by Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader was last seen wearing an oxygen mask inside a plane. Rahul Gandhi wrote, “Ma, the very model of grace under pressure.”
The picture was shot after they left the conference of the united opposition and made an emergency landing.
