Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday extended birthday greetings to Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, praising his efforts to promote India’s cultural heritage and strengthen the tourism sector.
Shekhawat, who represents Jodhpur in the Lok Sabha, was born on October 3, 1967, in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. He has served as Union Minister for Culture and Tourism since 2024.
Taking to X, PM Modi praised Shekhawat’s efforts to popularise Indian culture and support the growth of the tourism sector. He also wished the Union Minister a long and healthy life.
