PM Modi, Amit Shah Pay Tribute To Maharaja Agrasen On Birth Anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to Maharaja Agrasen on his birth anniversary, recalling his contributions to public service, equality and social harmony.

PM Modi described Maharaja Agrasen as a pioneer of public service and social harmony, saying his life and ideals continued to guide people towards humanity.

The Prime Minister added that Agrasen’s thoughts would remain a source of inspiration for India’s cultural resurgence.

जनसेवा और सामाजिक सद्भाव के प्रणेता महाराजा अग्रसेन जी को उनकी जयंती पर कोटि-कोटि नमन। उनके जीवन और आदर्शों से हमें निरंतर मानवता के मार्ग पर चलने की सीख मिलती है। उनके महान विचार भारत के सांस्कृतिक उत्थान के लिए सदैव प्रेरणापुंज बने रहेंगे।

Amit Shah paid his respects to Maharaja Agrasen, highlighting his vision of an egalitarian society built on mutual cooperation, social justice and prosperity for all.

The Union Home Minister recalled the tradition of ‘one brick, one rupee’ as a lasting example of social harmony.

The practice represents collective support, encouraging people to contribute resources to help others build their lives and livelihoods.

Shah added that Maharaja Agrasen’s ideals would continue to inspire society to become more organised, empowered and self-reliant.

समानता, स्वावलंबन और सद्भाव के अग्रदूत महाराजा अग्रसेन जी की जयंती पर उनका वंदन करता हूँ।

महाराजा अग्रसेन जी ने परस्पर सहयोग, सामाजिक न्याय और सबकी समृद्धि का मार्ग दिखाकर समतामूलक समाज की नींव रखी। ‘एक ईंट, एक रुपया’ की उनकी परंपरा आज भी सामाजिक समरसता की सुंदर मिसाल है।
