During his rally address in Morena (Madhya Pradesh), PM Narendra Modi stated that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi seems to take pleasure in criticizing him. He urged people not to be perturbed by it.
The Prime Minister added that throughout history, there has been a tradition of Naamdars (those born into influential families) hurling abuses at Kaamdars (those who work hard).
PM Modi asserted, “These days, Congress Shehzada is enjoying insulting Modi every day, which makes them happy. People on social media are saying that this language is not right. People are getting upset about it.”
“My humble request is please don’t be sad, don’t get angry, you know they are the Naamdars and we are the Kaamdars,” he added.
Prime Minister was responding to the language used by Rahul Gandhi against him.
Earlier on Wednesday, during a public meeting, Rahul Gandhi said, “The instant I mentioned X-rays, Narendra Modi trembled in fear. When gripped by fear, he resorts to falsehoods. Whether it’s discussing China or Pakistan, his words are consistently deceitful.”
The Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh are taking place in four phases.
The first phase of polling took place on 19 April. The next three phases are on 26 April, 7 May, and 13 May. Vote counting will occur on 4 June.
