Phase 7 Of Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Voter Turnout At 49.68% Till 3 pm During Phase 7

As the curtains draw on a month-long campaigning frenzy, all eyes are fixed on the final phase of Lok Sabha elections, where 56 seats will be fiercely contested across seven states and one Union Territory on June 1.

Among the key battlegrounds are Bihar (8 seats), Himachal Pradesh (4 seats), Jharkhand (3 seats), Odisha (6 seats), Punjab (13 seats), Uttar Pradesh (13 seats), West Bengal (9 seats), and the Union Territory of Chandigarh.

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s stronghold, Varanasi, will be among the constituencies casting their votes on Saturday. Alongside him, notable personalities such as actor Kangana Ranaut in Mandi, Anurag Thakur in Hamirpur, and actor Ravi Kishan in Gorakhpur are also vying for victory. The fate of Mamata Banerjee’s nephew and TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee, contesting from Diamond Harbour, will also be determined in this crucial phase.
