Patel Infrastructure Repairs Unnao Expressway Service Road After Subsidence

Patel Infrastructure said on Friday that it acted immediately after receiving information about subsidence on a service road along the expressway in Unnao, ensuring traffic remained completely safe and uninterrupted.

The company clarified that minor subsidence or damage to service roads during the first spell of the monsoon is not unusual due to continuous rainfall, waterlogging, and soil erosion.

According to a statement issued by Project Manager Satish, the company promptly launched repair work and implemented all necessary safety measures at the affected location as soon as the issue was reported.

The swift response prevented any disruption to vehicular movement, allowing traffic to continue smoothly throughout the repair process.

The company stated that it is continuously monitoring the affected stretch and prioritising permanent, high-quality technical improvements to ensure a durable solution. It reaffirmed that construction quality, commuter safety and passenger convenience remain its highest priorities.

Patel Infrastructure also urged the public not to rely on misleading or unverified information and advised citizens to trust only official updates released through authorised communication channels.

The company reiterated its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of project quality, road safety and timely maintenance.

Dedicated monitoring teams remain actively deployed across the expressway to inspect infrastructure, identify potential issues and respond immediately whenever required. It added that engineers and maintenance personnel continue to work proactively to strengthen the expressway’s infrastructure and minimise inconvenience to commuters during the monsoon season.

The company affirmed that it will continue taking every necessary measure to ensure passenger safety, uninterrupted traffic movement and efficient maintenance, ensuring that travellers experience safe and hassle-free journeys despite adverse weather conditions.
