Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for transforming Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) from an annual interaction into a nationwide movement, as registrations crossed a historic four-crore mark.
Calling it a global benchmark in student outreach, Pradhan credited the Prime Minister’s leadership for redefining how governments engage with youth during high-pressure academic periods.
Addressing the milestone, Pradhan urged students, popularly known as Exam Warriors, to actively participate in Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 and draw strength from the initiative’s focus on stress-free learning.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently positioned education not merely as academic performance, but as a journey of confidence, focus, resilience, and mental well-being.
According to official data, registrations for PPC crossed four crore as of January 8, 2026, drawing participation from students, parents, and teachers across the country.
The overwhelming response, Pradhan said, reflects the programme’s deep resonance with Indian households and its growing relevance in addressing exam anxiety through dialogue rather than pressure.
The Education Minister described the initiative as a true Jan Andolan, noting that its scale and diversity underline a rare convergence of learners, educators, and parents on a single national platform.
He asserted that PPC now stands as a symbol of inclusive governance, where the Prime Minister directly connects with students to guide, motivate, and reassure them.
Pradhan emphasised that Pariksha Pe Charcha has evolved far beyond a symbolic interaction. He said the initiative fosters meaningful national conversations on education, emotional health, and holistic development, areas often overlooked in competitive academic environments.
Online registrations for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 opened on December 1, 2025, via the MyGov portal.
The Department of School Education and Literacy under the Ministry of Education organises the programme annually, making it one of the most anticipated student-centric engagements in the country.
As examinations approach, officials reiterated their appeal to students nationwide to participate and benefit from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance on managing stress, embracing learning, and building confidence.
The government sees the initiative as a cornerstone of its youth-focused governance and education reform agenda.
