Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 Marks Pan-India Outreach With Record 6.76 Crore Participation

The ninth edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship programme, Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026, marked a significant evolution as it expanded into a fully pan-India dialogue with students, parents and teachers from across the country.

Since its inception in 2018, the initiative has aimed to create a supportive environment where students can approach examinations with confidence and without undue pressure.

Breaking away from the traditional single-venue format in New Delhi, PPC 2026 connected students from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, Raipur in Chhattisgarh, Dev Mogra in Gujarat and Guwahati in Assam.

This symbolic outreach brought together the north, south, east, west and central India on one platform, reflecting the programme’s inclusive national character.

The scale of participation underscored the initiative’s expanding footprint. Over 4.5 crore people registered for PPC 2026, while another 2.26 crore actively took part in associated activities, taking total engagement beyond 6.76 crore participants nationwide.

During the interaction, Prime Minister Modi offered guidance on handling board and entrance examinations calmly, while also addressing broader aspects of learning, mental well-being and personal growth.

Participants are selected through nationwide competitions, with several students getting the opportunity to interact directly with the Prime Minister.

The eighth edition, held in February 2025, introduced an innovative multi-episode format and set a Guinness World Record for global participation.

Building on that momentum, Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 continues to strengthen the message of joyful learning and promote a culture of stress-free examinations across India.
