A special security initiative, ‘Operation Chaturbhuj’, was launched to safeguard devotees attending the holy bath on Magh Purnima in Maha Kumbh Nagar.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the operation aimed to implement robust safety protocols for both domestic and international visitors.

The Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) played a pivotal role in establishing a high-tech security infrastructure.
With advanced surveillance tools, the team ensured seamless monitoring of safety, convenience, crime prevention, and crowd management starting from Tuesday night.

The ICCC oversees the fairgrounds and the city, utilizing 2,750 advanced cameras, anti-drone systems, and specialized security personnel for continuous vigilance throughout the event.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rajesh Dwivedi highlighted the use of drones for 24/7 aerial surveillance, which contributed significantly to effective crowd control.
He further noted, “The anti-drone system remains on high alert, specifically to prevent any unauthorized aerial activities. On Magh Purnima, officials took additional measures to neutralize suspicious drones, ensuring a safe and peaceful experience for all devotees.”
