Op-Sindoor: Top Clerics Meet Rajnath Singh To Convey Muslim Community’s Gratitude To Modi Govt, Armed Forces

A delegation of top clerics from dargahs across India, along with BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla, met senior Union Ministers on Sunday.

They visited the residences of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, and Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal.

The delegation expressed gratitude to the Modi-led government and the Indian Armed Forces for the success of Operation Sindoor.

The delegation included Hazrat Syed Naseruddin Chishty, spiritual successor of Ajmer Dargah and Chairman of the All India Sufi Sajjada Nashin Council.

Babli Parveen, Secretary of the Council’s Women Wing, also joined the group.

According to a joint statement, the clerics praised the army’s decisive response.

They stated, “A new normal has been established by this unprecedented military action. Now, we enter enemy territory and strike. Nuclear threats will not shield terrorists anymore.”

Operation Sindoor: A New National Stand

They further added, “Our armed forces destroyed 9 terror camps and hit 11 Pakistan army bases. This makes every Indian proud. Pakistan must stop supporting terror. If not, it will face the same treatment as terrorists. Respect for sindoor is sacred in Indian culture. The Pahalgam attack is a stain on humanity, and Pakistan is responsible. Islamic nations must boycott Pakistan for defaming Islam. Supporting terrorism is equal to being an enemy of Islam and humanity.”

Shehzad Poonawalla addressed the media after the meetings.

He said, “Chishty Saheb led this delegation of clerics from all parts of India. We visited three Union Ministers today. Our military responded boldly under a government with strong political and strategic will.”

Hazrat Syed Naseruddin Chishty also spoke after the meetings.

He said, “We have gathered representatives from various dargahs nationwide. I thank the Indian government and the armed forces. I had a deep conversation with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. This is a new India. It doesn’t just talk—it takes firm action and decisions.”
