NFL Enhances Student Welfare With Water Coolers & RO Purifiers In Delhi Schools

The National Fertilisers Limited (NFL) has placed a purchase order to install 50 water coolers with RO purifiers in 28 schools of the Shahdara North Zone under the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, following the request in the letter dated 9 June 2025.

The deliveries are scheduled for the first or second week of February 2026.

Authorities must provide the complete addresses of all schools to ensure smooth delivery.

Principals must ensure that each school has the necessary infrastructure, including electricity supply and water pipeline connections, ready before installation.

This preparation will allow contractors to set up the equipment efficiently and without delays.

The project will cover schools across various wards, including Jhilmil, Dilshad Colony, Sundar Nagri, Mustafabad, and others, serving a total of 22,626 students.

Each school will receive water coolers according to its student strength, with one to three units provided per institution.

The initiative aims to provide students with access to clean and safe drinking water, thereby enhancing their health and well-being while supporting a conducive learning environment.

This endeavour forms part of the NFL’s broader commitment to education and student welfare through its Corporate Social Responsibility programme.

Contractors will complete the phased installation of water coolers with RO purifiers by February 2026, and principals must fully cooperate to ensure smooth implementation of the project.

By improving access to safe drinking water, this initiative exemplifies the critical role of CSR in strengthening educational infrastructure and promoting the health of students across Delhi, reflecting NFL’s dedication to enhancing the welfare of communities in which it operates.
