New Wing Of Bharat Express News Network! Grand Inauguration of New Bureau Office In Prayagraj

A bureau office of Bharat Express News Network has been inaugurated in the presence of its chief Upendra Rai, in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, today i.e. on Saturday. High Court Justice Vivek Kumar Singh inaugurated the office by cutting the ribbon followed by the lamp-lighting ceremony. Hon’ble Justice Saurabh Srivastava, Justice Gautam Chaudhary, Justice Kshitij Shailendra, and Justice Nijar Tiwari graced the event with their presence.

At the event, Bharat Express’ CMD Upendrra Rai stressed how today, the tagline of the channel, ‘Truth, Courage and Dedication’, is relevant, and important. Senior journalist Upendrra Rai said, “I remember when  I was in 12th standard, Sardar Purna Singh created an evolution in Hindi literature through his 4 essays, which made him immortal in the field of Hindi literature. One of his essays is ‘Civilization of Conduct’. The story of this essay defines these three words ‘truth, courage, and dedication’ together. Or I should say that the thought of keeping the tagline ‘Truth, Courage, Dedication’ came after the story of ‘Aacharan ki sabhyata’.”

He further said, “The story is of an affluent family traveling on a boat in a raging river. Suddenly one of the women falls into the water and everybody gets worried and screams, but nobody tries to save her. Now, the question is who saved her? A fisherman aboard who had nothing to do with her surprisingly jumped into the water and saved the woman.”

Via this story narration, the Chairman tried to convey a small yet meaningful message of humanity and courage.

The Chief of Bharat Express also mentioned Munshi Prem Chand’s famous story ‘Mantra’. He told how Dr. Chadha was getting ready to play badminton when a poor man approached him for his child and begged him for his life. But the doctor refuses to treat and gives priority to playing badminton. But when a snake bites Dr. Chadha’s son and he seeks help then it was the same poor man who comes and saves the child through a mantra. He leaves as the child regains consciousness. When Dr. Chadha recognizes the man, whose son he refused to treat that led to the child’s death, he feels guilty. Upendrra Rai stressed on how people from rural areas are simple yet helpful and courageous.

He said that Munshi Premchand has shown the mood of the urban and elite people through the ‘Mantra’ story. Such stories have been his inspiration for the motto of his channel ‘True Courage and Dedication’.

After the inauguration of the office, Prayagraj will be covered efficiently at the hyperlocal level. It is the endeavor of Upendrra Rai, Chairman, MD, and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express, to prominently feature all news that remains untouched by other news organizations.

Group Editor Sudesh Tiwari, Prayagraj Bureau Chief Mumtaz Ahmed, Prayagraj Correspondent Abhishek Pandey, and other dignitaries of the city were present on this occasion.

Bharat Express News Network is a reflection of CMD Upendrra Rai’s vision and his remarkable journey of 25 years in the field of journalism.
