Prayagraj: Senior IPS officer Tarun Gaba having a long experience of policing has served central as well as state government for more than 22 years took charge as Police Commissioner Prayagraj, said that his top priority will be Maha Kumbh. In view of which new technology and data base security system will be implemented which will facilitate everyone. Traffic management will be done keeping in mind the problems of the devotees. Including this responsibilities of every cop will be fixed and monitored under strict vigil.
IPS Tarun Gaba earlier servedĀ CBI for a long time and was also a member of the investigation team of Vyapam scam. He was posted in Raj Bhavan for three years. Earlier, he served as SP in many districts including Fatehpur, Maharajganj and Ghazipur. After taking charge as police Commissioner Prayagraj, he said that work will be done on the basis of priority of the government.

He said that for improvement in policing, it is most important is that there should be change in the behavior of the policemen. It should not happen that the police misbehave with any complainant going to the police station. To remove such shortcomings, policemen will be given training in professional skills. In any case, we will have to learn to behave properly with the public.
Regarding the data base system, it was told that it will help in controlling crime. PRV will be deployed on the basis of phone calls and public problems. Action will continue against organized criminals. Mafia Raj will not be allowed to flourish.
