Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday praised all participants of the NDA Chief Ministers’ Conclave for showcasing best practices and motivating others to help realise the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
Around 20 chief ministers and 18 deputy chief ministers attended the meeting in Delhi. After the conclave, PM Modi shared on X: “Participated in the NDA Chief Ministers’ Conclave in Delhi. We had extensive deliberations about various issues.”
PM Modi highlighted how states shared their achievements across key sectors. These included water conservation, grievance redressal, administrative reforms, education, women’s empowerment, and sports. He added, “It was wonderful to hear these experiences.”
The leaders also listened to the latest Mann Ki Baat broadcast, PM Modi’s first since Operation Sindoor. In the address, he praised the Armed Forces and called the operation a symbol of a confident India fighting terrorism and embracing self-reliance.
The conclave paid tribute to the 26 civilians killed in the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. PM Modi noted India’s response through Operation Sindoor, which destroyed nine terror bases in Pakistan and PoK with precise military action.
Leaders passed a resolution commending the Armed Forces and hailed PM Modi’s leadership as he completes one year of his third term in office. The NDA also adopted a resolution supporting the caste census. BJP President JP Nadda stated that the alliance supports social justice but opposes politicising caste enumeration.
Many chief ministers shared their states’ flagship schemes during the session. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta posted on X about attending the event, noting the chance to hear the PM’s Mann Ki Baat live with fellow leaders.
