Earlier in his press conference, Sidhu slammed Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann. He expressed that the security of the prominent personalities is being sacrificed, while Bhagwant Mann himself has the best kind of security. Talking about popular Punjabi singer, Sidhu Moosewala he stated “He was a global star. Why was his security pruned? Did it ever happen when you reduce security and you make it public? There is no such norm.”
Sidhu Moosewala died last year in an open fire, just the day after his security was revoked by the Punjab government. The Congress leader attacked Mann because of his decision of revoking the security and announcing it publicly. He further added, “What happened with him (Moosewala), the same thing is happening with another Sidhu today. I do not care.”
