The party’s performance below expectations in Uttar Pradesh was a key factor contributing to the BJP’s inability to secure a majority of 272 seats in the Lok Sabha independently.

All district presidents, alongside other party office bearers, will convene for the day-long meeting at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan.
“A wide range of topics will be covered during the closed-door session between the national president and senior state office bearers,” noted a senior BJP leader.
“The meeting will specifically address the party’s performance in the recent Lok Sabha elections in the state and analyze the factors contributing to the less-than-satisfactory outcome,” he elaborated.
The state party president will present a comprehensive review of the BJP’s performance across all 80 Lok Sabha constituencies.
“This visit marks BJP President’s first appearance following the formation of the NDA government at the Centre, underscoring the significance of the state executive meeting on July 14,” stated Hero Bajpai, state BJP spokesperson.
“Key topics including political strategies, agricultural policies, women’s issues, and membership drive will be among the focal points of discussion during the day-long state executive meeting,” he added. Post-elections, the BJP deployed 40 teams comprising two members each to conduct a detailed review across all 80 Lok Sabha seats, with particular emphasis on constituencies where the party faced setbacks.
