In a significant milestone for participatory governance, MyGov, the citizen-centric platform, commemorated its 10th anniversary on Friday with a renewed commitment to shaping a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047.
CEO Akash Tripathi took the occasion to emphasize the platform’s ongoing mission to foster greater public involvement in governance.
Since its inception on 26 July 2014, MyGov has evolved into a robust channel connecting over 30 million registered users with government bodies.
The platform is a pivotal tool for bridging the gap between citizens and policymakers, facilitating a more interactive and inclusive approach to governance.
In a celebratory post on X, where MyGov boasts 3.3 million followers, the platform exclaimed, “Cheers to 10 Years of MyGov! Our numbers are off the charts—thanks to YOU!”
This reflects the platform’s significant impact and widespread engagement with the public.
Designed as a comprehensive citizen engagement hub, MyGov collaborates with various government ministries and departments to solicit public opinions on crucial policy matters.
It serves as a conduit for gathering insights on topics of public interest, thus influencing policy formulation and public welfare initiatives.
CEO Akash Tripathi expressed gratitude towards the users, stating, “Thank you to every citizen who has been part of this journey. Let’s continue to strengthen our vibrant community and work towards a Viksit Bharat by 2047 together.”
His statement underscores MyGov’s commitment to not only engaging citizens but also driving collective efforts towards national development.
The platform’s versatility is evident in its array of engagement tools, including discussions, tasks, polls, surveys, blogs, talks, pledges, quizzes, and on-ground activities.
This diverse range of interactive features enables citizens to actively participate in governance and stay informed about various schemes and programs.
MyGov maintains a strong digital presence across major social media platforms such as X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
Additionally, it engages users on popular Indian social media platforms like Sharechat, Chingari, Roposo, Bolo Indya, and Mitron, further amplifying its outreach.
