Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan launches Ladli Bahna Yojna
Ladli Bahna Yojna: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made a big announcement for the betterment and empowerment of the poor women in the state on the occasion of Narmada Jayanti. The government is set to provide one thousand rupees every month to every poverty-stricken woman in the state. Addressing the occasion, the chief minister, Shivraj Singh said, “Like Ladli Laxmi Yojana, now Ladli Bahna Yojana will be initiated in the state. In this scheme, our poor sister of all classes will get one thousand rupees per month and if she is getting the benefit of other schemes, then she will continue to get the same.”
An estimated 60 thousand crore rupees will be spent on the scheme in five years, CM Shivraj said.
Moreover, the chief minister has emphasized that the government will give the amount to all categories of women in the state. Also, the Ladli Bahna Yojana will be deposited every month in the account of the sister of every eligible family so that she can become financially empowered, he added.
He also said, “Ladli Bahna Yojana will improve the lives of the sisters of the state. I want to empower my sisters financially. If our sisters are strong then the family will be strong enough to excel in their lives.”
