Monsoon Session Will Be As Productive As Monsoon Season, Says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed confidence that the Monsoon Session of Parliament would prove as productive as the monsoon season itself, saying that both play an important role in promoting the nation’s welfare and development.

Addressing the media before the commencement of the session, PM Modi voiced hope that the proceedings would deliver meaningful outcomes for the country.

Reflecting on India’s recent achievements, the Prime Minister said the past month had been marked by several milestones that filled every Indian with pride. He noted that the country had recorded significant accomplishments across national, international, scientific and space sectors, reinforcing India’s growing stature on the global stage.

Highlighting the country’s rapid progress in space exploration, PM Modi recalled that an Indian astronaut had travelled to the International Space Station before last year’s Monsoon Session.

This year, he said, Hyderabad-based Skyroot Aerospace created history by successfully launching Vikram-1 under Mission Aagaman, making it India’s first privately developed orbital launch vehicle.

The Prime Minister particularly praised the young team behind the mission, noting that the average age of the Skyroot engineers was only 28 years. He said their achievement had demonstrated the remarkable talent, innovation and determination of India’s youth, who continue to raise the country’s profile internationally.

PM Modi said the achievement reflected the boundless potential and aspirations of India’s youth, calling it an inspiration for the nation. He also highlighted the inauguration of a major oil refinery in Rajasthan, India’s third semiconductor plant and a green hydrogen-powered train.

The Prime Minister credited scientists, engineers, innovators, entrepreneurs and workers for these milestones, saying they reflect India’s growing technological strength and global standing.
